Open Question: how to find lacoste sport clothing?

Monday, September 29th, 2008

I looked on the lacoste web site and I could find the tennis shoes, but I wanted to find the athletic clothing that people like andy roddick wear. I find lacoste to be a very interesting brand, but all I could find was long sleeve shirts and jeans.

Open Question: What boots should I train with?

Monday, September 29th, 2008

I’m currently doing the BUD/S warning order training, and I’ve been doing most of my running in athletic shoes. But it is suggested that I use boots. What boots should I use for training?

Resolved Question: Is anybody else a girly girl among tomboys?

Monday, September 29th, 2008

I am 1of 4 girls. I have an older, twin, and younger sister. I am totally the oddball of the group. They all play every sport from boxing, soccer, basketball, wrestling, and softball between the three of them. They are all really strong physically. None of them will wear high heels or even a skirt. Very rarely do they wear jewelry. None of them will do their hair make up and nails. Then there is me. Not only do I always wear dresses but I make them as well. The only time I don’t wear a dress is when I am wearing a skirt. I don’t even own a pair of pants or shorts. I also don’t own any athletic shoes since all I wear is high heels. Of course I always have my hair, make up, and nails done. I also wear alot of jewelry. I would never play sports because I would not want to get dirty or break a nail. I would also cry if the ball hit me or I got knocked down. It is also very funny to see how physically weak I am when they are so strong. Isn’t it amazing how I ended up so different from them.

Voting Question: How does a white man get a black woman to lower her barrier and accept an introduction with enthusiasm?

Monday, September 29th, 2008

I asked this question before so let me add some detail. Here are some openers I have used that were authentic from the heart comments to women playing slots ibn a casino: “Excuse me, you have the most magnificent hair I have ever seen. May I ask how long it takes for you to get it like that.’ Or…..”Is that a lucky machine? No? I used to work in a casino, let me show you where they keep the lucky ones.’ Or if I have seen someone before playing a machine I will tell her “I cant believe this…I have been here only 3 times in my life and all 3 times you have been here. Is that possible!!!?” Or if I feel like being silly I will say, “you need to talk nicely to the machine. It has feelings like a real person. Maybe it will treat you better if you tell it something sweet.” Or at a wal-mart I will ask a woman if she needs help pushing her cart. Answer is always “no thank you.”

Anyway, I have tried dating services, I dress very cool. I am age 48, have an athletic body and speak very educated. If a woman tells me she is married which seems to happen over 50% of the time, I ask if she has a twin sister for me, and they always, always say no. What can I do to attract a black woman to me. Some of you have said black women dont want to feel like an experiment, but thats not fair. Every white man wanting to date inter-racially has to have his first white on black date. Besides my ex-wife is black anyway. Im just a so-so looking guy. Many people tell me I look like Ray Romano or Jim Valvano the basketball coach. I dress very well and try chatting with women both in casual and also in dress clothes. In fact, Im surprised that although I wear jeans a lot, sometimes at night I wear slacks, you know, dress pants that actually have a seam in it with classy shined shoes and a killer black long sleeve shirt with a nice collar and still….nothing. No interest from any
black women. How can I find one to settle down with or at least get a few of them to date me?

I know some black women prefer to stay with their own people, but all of them cant be like that. I approach women from 25-50.

I was just wondering, which do you find more attractive? A skater (wears tight jeans, skate shoes, skate shirts) or a football kind of person?..

Resolved Question: Are there shoes with good arch support that don’t have to be tied? ?

Monday, September 29th, 2008

I work in an office where I’m supposed to wear dress shoes, but I’m at the point where my feet are telling me I need shoes with more support I can wear tennis shoes with a doctor’s note though.. At 19 weeks, I can still tie my shoes without issue, but I realize that won’t be the case for entirety of my pregnancy.

Are there shoes with provide the same support as athletic shoes, but don’t have to be tied? Or will I be waking up my husband to tie my shoes every morning in a couple of months? :-)
I have a pair sneaker flats (style example: http://www.shoemall.com/assets/product_images/styles/large/128905BLU1Z.jpg) that are comfy, but they provide about as much arch support as flip flops.

Resolved Question: Help! What clothes do I need for Fall?

Monday, September 29th, 2008

I’m 15, and I have nothing. I know that some teens say that and it isn’t true, but for me it is.

I did an inventory of my clothes that fit and aren’t stained and ripped up and I have:
1 pair normal jeans
5 T-shirts
1 pair athletic tennis shoes
And a ton of underwear, socks, etc.

I also have:
A pair of skinny jeans that is about to fall apart
A couple of long sleeve tees that could work if I put a vest or something over them, because they have a lot of stains

I was sick for a while and just didn’t get a chance to work on my clothing wardrobe. Most of the stuff I have is from 2 years ago and doesn’t fit because I gained about 30 lbs and grew 5 inches.

I like to wear stuff like this-http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=2502532
I like things that are comfy but still cute and feminine.

What do I need? Colors and pics, too, please. Thanks!
I mostly need quantities of stuff, like how many hoodies, shirts, jeans, etc.
