I’ve had a lot of good fortune in the world of business, and have achieved much success in a variety of fields. I am also well-educated, and have earned a couple of degrees. At the same time, I also like to kick back and watch the game, or play some golf, or stay home and watch a video. I’m a laid-back, low-maintenance kind of guy.

Still, I find it difficult to meet a woman who is also intelligent and successful. I’m not talking about someone who is prissy and a “brainiac” . . . who speaks 7 languages, who only drinks a ‘68 Merlot with her pinky extended, who only drives a Jaguar, and who only wears designer labels. I’m just talking about a woman who lives her life with some basic dignity and class, and just has some common sense.

I’m tired of these women who are loud, vapid, ignorant, and think the most important thing in life is a good shoe sale. Instead of being confident and taking control of their own lives, they spend all day gossipping and blaming others and having a breakdown over the most trite issues.

It’s also not just the beauty queens . . . actually, it’s a lot of the “average” looking women who have the worst personalities.

Where does a guy find a REAL woman, who has some actual substance, instead of calling in sick because her favorite on “Dancing With The Stars” didn’t win?

i need to know this, cause there’s a need for my image for my job.

Ok, so I had my second job interview today which was a paid internship position with a graphic design company in downtown. This position also has flexible scheduling depending on what kind of work comes up and availability. From the way the interviewer was talking to me, he understands that I’m right out of college and the interview process can be a little nervewracking. I smiled and put on a pleasant show today at the interview, but I don’t think I did well in answering some questions. Here’s some dialogue from what I can remember:

Interviewer: Describe two strengths you have
Me: I am very reliable, always on time, and willing to handle new challenges. I’m also really good with deadlines, which is my second strength, like with projects, I tend to get done early, and in school I was one of the first people in class to get a graphic design project done.

Interviewer: Describe a weakness, and what you need to work on.
Me: Well, I don’t have a lot of experience in the web developing part of graphic design like HTML and Dreamweaver, but I really do want to learn it and would like to grow on these type of skills. I am now taking a class learning how to develop websites.

Interviewer: Describe any problems you had with your current job at Six Flags.
Me: Well, when it gets to be that time of the year where everyone is going back to school our department starts to get short handed on employees, so I tend to very good about filling in other peoples shoes, covering other people if they need off.

Interviewer: What do you do for hobbies?
Me: I hang out with friends and like to have fun. I also keep up with the latest information, in picking up tutorials online that help me learn new programs.
They took a look at my design samples and when asked about some of them, I did brag a little bit by saying that one of my designs was for a client and was chosen as best design cause I heard that employers like it when job seekers point out their accomplishments.
I was honest with my availability and when I could work, and when I was taking my class learning HTML and Dreamweaver.
Here’s questions I asked when the interviewer was done talking:
•So, you’re saying that with your interns you have flexible scheduling and tend to accomodate if they’re still in school?
•Do you have any designers that also do programming?
•When will I expect to find out on what decision was made in hiring?

Anyway, I should be hearing a result within the next week. I did follow up immediately after the interview, but I wonder if I screwed up the interview today cause I was nervous. Any advice?

Ok, so… my boyfriend keeps on flippin out at me for spendin my money on expensive designer bags shoes n clothes.
He keeps tellin me to save my money and I’m gettin mroe and mroe pissd bcuz its not even HIS money, he shouldnt be decided wt I should to wit MINE!
We live together and our parents pay our rent and food equally so its not like tht is a problem.
Both our parents r rlly well off and I just dont understand what else he wud want me to do wit my mum. What do I need to save it for?
My big problem is tht he cnt hav a normal discussion he always yells at me calls me names and lacks respect when we fight.
I make round 1600 pounds a month I work at a hedgefund… Ive managed to save up during those 4 months of work 3000 and Ive spent money like 800 pounds on a bag and 400 on shoes… bt I tend to not buy stuff often I tend to buy it rarely but then things I love and will keep for long.
What is his problem? Should I jus not involve him in any of the things I want to buy? Should I not ever tel him anything of any of things I wil buy and jus kep him in the dark… I dno wt Im supposd to do :S
Follow his rules and live my life and spend MY money the way he wants me to? Or…
